Peace cards for use as tracts for encouragement and healing

**Cards to hand out for those who need peace in their lives**

This is a way of sharing your faith and putting it into practice!!

These handy cards that fit into a wallet or purse I use on a regular basis for handing out to people everywhere, as a means of preaching the good news of Jesus. (see what it can also do for you-read story below!)

How that works is as follows-that when I am in a restaurant, a store, a supermarket, an office, on holiday or anywhere else, I am able to bring encouragement when I sense someone is feeling and looking down or troubled.

The Our Father prayer

In fact, when I start the day by saying the Our Father prayer with meaning, sincerity and intention, that is, to do God’s will by bringing Heaven to Earth, I am asking for an opportunity to do just that! ( To download a beautiful copy of the Lord’s prayer click HERE )

Having said that, I am primed for an opportunity some time in the day to share, encourage, or pray for anyone who Holy Spirit would direct me to.

I have handed out a few hundred of these cards, and the feed back that I get is wonderful, in the sense that when they are given out and people read the cards, they are greatly encouraged, even healed!

EXAMPLE 1 HUSBAND HEALED BY GIVING HIM A CARD

Let me give you an example of a miracle of healing that occurred one day in a restaurant while having breakfast with a friend and disciple of the Omega Course just by giving someone a card

I was sitting in the restaurant having breakfast with Craig and we were discussing my editing and printing books on miracles called Heaven on Earth Volume 1 and 2. The waitress above walked past and happened to glance down at the cover on my books, and turned back saying can I please pray for her! Quite amazed at this because she had not even taken our order and spoken to us yet, I replied saying that I will do so with pleasure when I have finished my breakfast.

Eventually we were finished and remembering the request of the waitress, in my spirit I asked Holy Spirit ( I say that because when we talk about Jesus we do not say THE Jesus, we say Jesus- and neither should we say THE Holy Spirit as that is His name! When we want to describe someone we can say THE Jesus of the Bible, and THE Holy Spirit of God!)

Anyway, as I was walking up to the till, Holy Spirit implanted in my mind not to pray for her, but to give her a card the same as above. So I asked her what her problem was, and she said no, I dont have a problem, but it is my husband who is very sick and vomiting all the time. As she said this, Holy Spirit said to me in my spirit, pray a blessing over the card-tell the waitress she must give it to her husband-he must first read the prayer out loud in the card-and then he will be healed!

As I spoke these words, I was to say the least a bit shocked, but having had many uncertain scenarios in the past like this, I had peace with telling the waitress what to do and left the restaurant. Over the next week I pondered on what the outcome would be with her husband. I go there every second week as we have a men’s prayer meeting in the Fish Hoek area, and so the time came for Craig and myself to go and have breakfast again.

(Hi All I am just confirming that I was with Arthur on this day at the restaurant when Tsingie asked if Arthur could pray for her.She later explained to us her husband was ill and when she gave him the card he was healed.-Craig. )

An anointed card brings healing (like Paul and Peters cloths healed people at a distance)

We walked into the restaurant, and there we met the same waitress who had a huge smile on here face, and remembering what had happened two weeks ago I asked her how her husband was. She said he is absolutely fine, and by now curious, I asked her-So what happened when you gave him the card? She replied that he took it and read it as she told him to, and within a few minutes his sickness vanished and he was completely HEALED!

We praised God together, and from that day on she calls me the ‘miracle man’. I said to her-No It is not I who did the miracle, but God who we both believe in-He is the one who does the miracles. My joy was overflowing as I celebrated God’s goodness, and the privilege of bringing hope and healing through the name of Jesus!!

EXAMPLE 2 EMPLOYER CHANGES ATTITUDE TO STAFF ON RECEIVING CARD

Another interesting card story for both the receiver, and the giver of the card!

One more interesting card story is of a young lady with a world vision to establish a home for the homeless, who joined our Green Point group (To see more click here -Fellowship and Ministry and visit COURSE GROUPS. She has given me permission to tell her story and progress, as an encouragement to others!) We used to get together weekly and I taught the Omega Disciple Makers Course I was teaching our group of around 8 people, and had asked each one in turn to read from the course manuals-when it came to her turn to read, she suddenly said-I cant read, I have dyslexia! I was surprised at her statement, although she seemed very obviously a shy and introvert person. So I said, dont worry, I will read in your place and carried on reading. While I was doing so, Holy Spirit said to me, dont look up, but just say quietly to her to please continue reading where I left off! Without the slightest hesitation she carried on reading as if there had been no problem-at this I rejoiced in my spirit knowing that she had suddenly been healed of dyslexia.!!

Anyway, to come to the point about the cards, we had come to the end of the meeting and I asked if anyone had any special requests. This same young lady pictured above piped up saying she had a problem with her female employer and was very unhappy at work. So once again, calling on Holy Spirit, He said to give her one of my cards and hand it to her employer, as I believed her employer was under a lot of stress and had no peace. Before handing it over, I asked our young lady to first pray for an opportunity to give the card at the right time.

The next time we met again, I asked her how did it go at work, and she replied that her boss was taking a lot of documents down to her car, and asked her to help carry them down. She did this, and apparently while at the car she felt led to give her the card (remembering she was a shy introvert type) for which her employer thanked her. When next she met her employer, her attitude to staff was different and a turn around had taken place, presumably by her reading and meditating on the contents of the card.! THIS SHOWS THE POTENTIAL RESULTS, JUST BY GIVING OUT A CARD OFFERED IN THE SYMPATHY AND COMPASSION OF JESUS !

Another miracle happens- to the card giver!

Another side benefit was that because she had taken the courage to give her employer the card, is that our young lady in question had now lost her shyness, and from then on was a different person, much more outgoing, and not shy to interrupt a meeting to raise a point. Finally in closing, she had another experience while we had a meeting at my house, and at some point while we were praying for people, she jumped up and said MY ALLERGY is gone!. She ran to the kitchen and asked where is the honey, and we all wondered what on earth she was talking about. She came back with a mouthful of honey saying that previously she had been extremely allergic to honey which allergy was now gone and we all praised the Lord for her miracle!!

In closing, I would like to say that I made these cards to fit into a normal purse or wallet, and if I go out without a card on me, I kind of feel ‘undressed’-this is because there have been times when I really needed to give someone a card and had nothing in my wallet!

HOW TO GO ABOUT PRINTING AND CUTTING THESE CARDS WHEN DOWNLOADED.

There are 2 pages that will download as 2 word document files
One is the inside, and the other the front side of the card
Save the card files in a file or folder on your computer.
Select your paper-I use a 120 g thick paper almost like a normal business card
Choose a colour for your cards-white is fine or even a light yellow possibly
Print one side only say the front of the card
This will give you 5 cards in colour
Then take the same sheet just printed and insert it in the printer with print side up
The top of the page must go in to the printer first
Choose now the inner side file in your computer of the card and print
You will now have an A4 page with both sides printed
Trim the cards as shown below

Finally carefully cut the cards into 5 sections for 5 cards and fold as above picture-use the inner side for cutting as this is more precise.

Tip-Use the INNER side when cutting to separate the cards, because the borders and the text is very tight, and you might cut off some text if you use the other side to trim.

Under no circumstances try and change any settings, as I struggled for a long time to get the overlay of inner and outer lined up.

Lastly, may these cards be a blessing to you as you witness to a world in darkness; may God our Father bless you as you hand out messages of Peace and hope which is what the world really needs-not money, possessions or anything else. There is NOTHING else in this world than can bring peace. Only the message of Jesus, prompted by Holy Spirit in and through you, will accomplish this. You can also lay hands on each card and pray a blessing over them, before distributing, and trust God to do a work in those who receive them
