Alfred Adler was Carl Jung’s assistant, and Carl Jung, after a lifetime of the consultation came to the conclusion that if any of them did not turn to religion, they ended up in a lunatic asylum or committed suicide. FOOTNOTE-These notes come from a lifetime of experience of inner pain and struggle, a loss of identity and being fearful for most of my early life. It is rounded off by listening to the experiences of many thousands of people who were broken, homeless, without help or hope, suicidal, psychologically disturbed and so on. The notes also contain answers to life’s questions, where we learn to also face the truth about our own ignorance and foolishness. THE FEAR FACTOR

What has this got to do with emotional struggles and feelings often out of control?

Why do we need emotional healing? In general, it is all about the fear that we are programmed with from childhood by parents, circumstances, relatives, school, friends, partners’, evildoers and the like.

Scott Peck, who became a famous author, realised that from an early age there was something wrong or missing in his life, and started searching for meaning studying psychology, and ended up turning to God-now he has helped millions through his books such as Down the road less travelled etc

From my experience in my own life, and subsequent counselling and listening to many thousands of stories from people in squatter camps, the Ark which I helped start where over a thousand homeless lived at any one time, with about 35 000 went through its doors in the 6 years of its existence at Westlake. In over 30 years of travelling around South Africa, in shopping malls, streets, churches, house churches etc I have found what I call a life sequence of events that causes us to need emotional healing as follows. (It could also progress as we go into adulthood, enter relationships with partners, business, family squabbles, satanism etc)

A PROGRESSION FROM BIRTH TO ADULTHOOD

INWARDLY (Dependant on the degree and duration of fear causing factors)

FEAR-From birth we receive hidings possible abuse from parents, relatives and others

REJECTION-I feel unloved and unwanted-experiencing discipline as punishment

RESENTMENT-We develop a sense of why are they doing this to me?-WORRY becomes obsessive

REBELLION-I am not going to keep taking this much longer

BITTERNESS-This makes our life a misery and life is a bitter pill to swallow

DEPRESSION-This develops because it seems impossible to change ones’ situation.

ANGER-now builds up and we develop moods,

UNFORGIVENESS -This state is what causes us grief, affects us most, and we can become ill from stress etc

STRANGE BEHAVIOURS -Phobias, Neuroses, anti-social behaviour, Manipulation, Schizophrenia, insanity

EXTERNALLY This section now takes on a life of its own, depending on our faulty choices as we get older

ADDICTIONS-one turns to chemical substances and other acts to ease the pain, which makes it worse

VIOLENCE-Anger now boils over into acts of violence-shouting, throwing objects and hitting, manipulation or control.

MURDER or SUICIDE-This is the ultimate and final act of desperation to find a solution

HIPPOCRATES FOUNDER OF MODERN MEDICINE- FOUND MANKIND FELL INTO 1 OF 4 GROUPS

TEMPERAMENT-Men and women fell into 1 or more of 4 Types

(Based on his examination of the ‘liquids’ that predominate in our body)

Sanguine– (Blood)-Restless, Impulsive Disorganised, lack of concentration, undisciplined, weak morals)

Choleric– (Yellow Bile) -Angry, impetuous, hot-tempered, violently angry, cruel, domineering etc)

Melancholy-(Black Bile) -Morbid, Self-examination causes paralysis, Hypochondriac, easily offended)

Phlegmatic-(Phlegm) -Selfish, Stubborn slow, lazy, selfish, unchangeable, stingy, spectator etc

(This applies to people in general, whose spirits are broken, crushed, corrupted and seemingly without meaning and purpose)

OUR EMOTIONAL DNA OR PROGRAM

Unhappiness is a way of life it happens to everyone

DYSFUNCTIONALITY, unhappiness, is a fact and way of life for every succeeding generation in general.

Parents are never taught how to be parents; neither are they taught how to relate as husband and wife, and when they bring a child into the world, there is almost a total ignorance of their own lack of knowledge in parenting and relational skills. This is a guarantee for not only a failed marriage but also a sure way for the children to grow up dysfunctional. A survey in a church once found that 96% of people in the church have some sort of dysfunctional background to varying degrees.

THE SINS OF THE FATHERS are unto the 4^th generation

This means that if there has been manipulation, control, domineering parenting, and relational control in an obsessive/compulsive manner, then anger, fear, and abuse verbally, with or without violence, and possibly sexual harassment, addictions of alcohol and drugs etc are a natural result. This behaviour will be carried on down the genetic family line, great grandparents, grandparents and parents as the children only have mostly role models who do not know what real love is, and how to express it.

NO LOVE AND ACCEPTANCE

Children often grow up in a semi nightmare world (much as I did), and are not aware and are ignorant that there is the possibility of a different way of living, without fear, and being unloved. This causes deep-rooted resentment, bitterness, unforgiveness and often anger from which we need to be freed. The end result of all of this is a continuous chain of family abuse and suffering down the family line, which is often made worse by involvement in addictions, cult involvement, such as palm reading and fortune telling, seances and witchcraft. This is a sure guarantee of episodes of depression, suicidal tendencies, murder and destruction.

THE TRUTH WILL SET US FREE-we often hear this but we don’t understand what it means.

Jesus said this in the book of John ch. 8 v 31-32 that if we followed His teaching we would know the truth. Pontius Pilate asked Jesus at His trial what is truth, and well may we also ask the same question. Is it that simple? No-Jesus said other things, and they are not only to hold fast to His teachings but also to become a follower or disciple of Himself (disciplined person) This is because there are ways of living and thinking; and much more such as loving your neighbour, forgiving others when they ‘hurt’ you. He said there are 2 requirements or commands, which is to love God and also yourself. This in itself is impossible for mankind, unless there comes a total renewal of their broken spirit within. If we bring our burdens to Jesus He promised He will give us peace, Mt 11 v28-29

IF YOU FIND THE TRUTH YOU WILL BE SET FREE

A disciple is someone who exercises self-control over their thoughts, words and actions;

Jesus said that we would be His disciples if we followed His teaching and obeyed them through discipline

Further, He said we would find the truth about Jesus and ourselves, and be set free. John 8v 31-32. We need to do this in order to better ourselves and the world around us-so being a disciple of Jesus means exactly that, because He came to give us wisdom and guidance from heaven-and that we are able to experience real peace, happiness and joy here on earth. This means that we can experience heaven right here on earth. This is God’s will for all humanity, and we see this expressed in the Our Father prayer that Jesus taught in Mathew Ch 6.

HOW TO FIND THE TRUTH AND KNOW WHAT IT IS

Jesus told us in John ch. 14 v 6, that HE is the TRUTH, the only WAY to heaven, and the LIFE abundant. What did He mean? Very simply stated- for mankind, there is no such thing as real truth, because all of us have a DIFFERENT perception of life, and our truths are based on ignorance, selfishness and arrogance. Our truths are in reality relative to our circumstances, life’s experiences, viewpoints, bias and so on. When we begin to UNDERSTAND who Jesus really is, and why His words and teachings point to the truth that will set us free, we will begin to see faintly a ray of hope that life can actually be worthwhile, and that we could possibly not only find REAL love but meaning and purpose in life as well. This is the beginning of wisdom and understanding, but not the whole picture. TRUTH is firstly a revelation of our own ignorance as to we have become, and then who we SHOULD be. Truth used here is also a spiritual transformation experience from our current miserable state to one of perfect freedom. Without this transformation, we will stay the same or get worse. (More on this at the end of this chapter)

CLAIM BACK YOUR DREAMS, HOPES AND ASPIRATIONS

Jesus told us in John ch. 10 v 10 that the thief, or as we understand it, the devil and his host of demon workers come TO STEAL, KILL AND DESTROY. How does this actually work-well consider when someone injures you or hurts you, or abuses you-what is your response? But He says in the same breath, that He came to give us a life of abundance filled with peace and love. However, He does not say our troubles will go away, just they won’t cause us distress. To get to there, we need to learn more what He had to say like if we call on Him He will give us rest. Mt 11 v28-30

FEAR- WE ARE ALL BORN INTO IT

ROOTS AND FRUITS OF FEAR

Roots-family abuse cause fear, resentment, rejection, rebellion, bitterness, unforgiveness etc
Fruits-Every root has a fruit-so the symptoms that appear are addictions, depression, anger, control etc

AREAS OF EMOTIONAL EXPRESSION

Thoughts-this is the inner person, but we are still affected by our thoughts of pain from the past in a sense we relive the experience and continue to accuse the other person guilty of a crime. Jesus warns us that our thoughts will condemn us. For many, there are voices in our thought life that speak to us, which in a sense are a recording of negative or traumatic events sometime in our life, whether young or old. This is like a stuck record-‘you will never amount to anything-you are a failure-just give up and walk away-just kill yourself, why bother to live anymore etc. This may seem dramatic, but many people obey these recordings from emotional scars and are often too scared to try and change or make a change, leave an abusive relationship etc

Words– spoken from the tongue contain the power of life or death, when we experience this in a relationship it can cripple us emotionally, so that our feelings are numbed, even from childhood to marriage. -also if we speak over someone in a negative malicious way, we can harm another just as surely as if we assaulted them. Jesus said- we will be held accountable for every careless word that comes out of the mouth. Words– spoken from the tongue contain the power of life or death, and when spoken over someone in a negative malicious way, we can harm another just as surely as if we assaulted them. This is a sense puts a ‘curse’ on someone such as a child who in rebellion will set out to become exactly what was spoken over them. In the same way, we can put a ‘curse’ over ourselves if we speak negatively over ourselves by saying things like I will never amount to anything-I cant do anything right-I am not good enough to have happiness-no one really loves me and so on.-

Deeds-these are actions done with the intention to harm, whether smacking, punching, hitting, assaulting, and lack of mercy, etc this abuse to us as children will greatly determine our response emotionally and also cripple us emotionally-in the same way as could hurt others if we do the same. We are told in the Bible that our deeds are written in the book of life in heaven, and will condemn or justify us.

AREAS OF RELATIONAL LIVING IN LIFE (3 ‘F’S)

Feelings – Relationships on an INTIMATE level- dependent on family, social background, (Character)
Function –Relationships at WORK work-this is who we seem to be (Personality)
Faith—Relationship with our CREATOR; this is the spirit of mankind-what motivates us (Identity)

FEELINGS-INSIDE-Ourselves (who we really are, this is our character)

Involves our emotions on a private level. Here we can cause ourselves real damage by succumbing to fear, paranoia, depression, commit violence to our bodies by cutting, slashing wrists, committing suicide etc

FUNCTION-OUTSIDE-(who we seem to be to others, this is our personality). this Involves our friends, family, work, relationships etc)

The cycle of abuse continues down the family line. Because we may have been badly abused as children, we bear resentment and take offence against the offender-when that person becomes an adult, they repeat the cycle of abuse. By our words and deeds, we can cause infinite harm esp. to our children for example, by saying they are no good, they will never amount to anything, you are useless, insulting or slandering them, judging others and the list goes on (see chart)

3.FAITH-SPIRITUAL- Our God-(will determine whether we have real hope, peace and love-our identity)

Here is an area in which we need to be very careful if we do the things to our neighbour as above, then we show by our words and actions that we are opposed to God because He loves His creations. Jesus tells us in Mathew ch. 7 v 21-22 that many who are Christians will arrive in heaven and say Lord in your name we cast out demons, raised the dead, healed the sick, went to church, read the bible, prayed for others-Jesus response will be to say-Be gone from Me-I never knew you-you who is a lawbreaker. We can be religious, know the whole bible, but never experience God’s love and His Holy Spirit working through us. What this means is that we have broken God’s law of love when we slander or judge another. Loving God is seemingly impossible but occurs immediately when one calls out in sincerity and truth, as in my case which was more desperation than wanting to love God, who I was not sure if He actually existed (see my story)

CHART OF NEGATIVE BEHAVIOUR-the Storehouse of our Heart

STOREHOUSE-We have ‘stored’ uncleanness in our spirit (or heart) due to life’s circumstances, and is shown by what comes out of our mouth-what we think, say or do -Jesus
What is this ‘House or heart’–it is none other than the spirit of man, filled with evil.
Jesus said-a good tree cannot bear bad fruit, neither a bad tree good fruit
How then do our spirits become corrupted, or defiled (evil)? Look at the chart below.

1 FEELINGS DOMINATE OUR LIVES–WE LACK A SENSE OF IDENTITY AS TO WHO WE ARE

Ruled by our feelings that overpower us-this is an unbalanced outlook-Identity based on our feelings. Our reaction to the world is to blame everyone for our problems and hurt them just as we have been hurt. We over compensate by accumulating possessions, cars, clothes etc our possessions become our identity.

FUNCTION AT WORK AND ELSEWHERE

Ruled by our intellect, logic and performance–everything must be perfect etc-this is an unbalanced outlook-Identity based on performance. In this mode, we judge others and put them down, with the intention of MAKING OURSELVES FEEL BETTER BY making them feel small, and in so doing we cause offence. WE now overachieve in sport, knowledge, work activities, and become known by what we do-achievements become our identity

FAITH AND TRUST IN GOD

Ruled and guided by the Holy Spirit of God-balanced outlook-our emotions and intellect are under control-we no longer react out of anger, but we RESPOND in a self-controlled manner without causing offence to one who offends us-This is REAL FREEDOM, an example of TRUTH IN ACTION. Our relationship with God becomes our identity

Fundamental facts

Live in day tight compartments-live for today- forget about yesterday and tomorrow

What is the worst that can happen-accept and improve on it

If you worry too much, the price you pay will be the loss of your health, and maybe your sanity

Worry prevents you from seeing that there IS beauty all around, that PEACE and LOVE is just around the corner.

Basic techniques to analyse worry

Get the facts, analyse the facts, arrive at a decision, and act

Eliminate 50% of your worries-what is the problem-what is cause-what are possible solutions-choose one and act

One wise person wrote the following-God grant me the serenity to accept the things cannot change; the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference

Put a stop loss on your worry ask yourself- how much does it matter- at what point in time shall I forget it

Exactly how much more must I pay for this- don’t try to saw sawdust-it’s a waste of time

Milk that is spilt cannot be put back in the bottle-so put it behind you-worrying cant fix it.

Worry can’t solve any problems, but it can make you sick_

8 WORDS THAT CAN CHANGE YOUR LIFE

Our life- is what our thoughts– make us

Just for today- you only have one life-live it –enjoy it

I will be happy- I will try to adjust to what is
I will take care of my body- I will try to strengthen my mind
I will exercise my soul, mind and body- (think and act cheerfully and you will feel cheerful

High cost of getting even

Do not heat a furnace so hot you burn yourself- if you do this you will never worry about ingratitude

Expect it-people are ungrateful, they quickly forget goods

Bitterness and unforgiveness only causes you pain, not the other person

Hating or being angry with someone is like drinking poison and hoping the other person will die!

So why worry-forgive and put the past behind you- take responsibility for your own happiness

Where are your problems – in your mind never mind it – if you can’t fix it, forget it

Would you take a million dollars for what you have the man who has no shoes and no legs vs. the man with no job

Count your blessings, not your problems- you can see, talk, and smell. walk, and enjoy the day- its up to you

How my mother and father conquered worry (Ch 19)

Father was 47 and had lost everything in floods and disease, penniless and in huge debt; was so worried he no longer wanted to live-but mother told him that if they loved God and kept His commandments everything would turn outright. This stopped him from committing suicide because his wife would read from the bible and pray every night. In the end Dale Carnegie himself went on to sell millions of books based on religion and prayer.

PART 2. Giving up and handing it over to God (If you are desperate like I was)

He finishes by saying-Why don’t you go to your bedroom, shut the door, kneel down and unburden your heart. Say-O God I can no longer fight my battles alone. I need Your help, Your love. Forgive all my mistakes. Cleanse my heart of all evil. Show me the way to peace and quiet and health, and fill me with love even for my enemies.

Another prayer- written 700 years ago by St Francis

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace

Where there is hatred, let me sow love

Where there is injury, pardon

Where there is doubt, hope.

Where there is darkness, light.

Where there is sadness, joy.

O divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled, as to console

For it is in giving that we receive, it is in pardoning that we are pardoned

And it is in dying (to our selfish self) that we are born to eternal life (spiritual rebirth)

TRUTH IS THAT WE ARE SPIRITUAL BEINGS IN A HUMAN BODY- A SOUL WITH FEELINGS AND THOUGHTS

Jesus said HE IS THE TRUTH, THE WAY AND LIFE

He also said He was sent from Heaven to bring healing, peace and love from Heaven by His father.

His miracles proved that He had control over life and the laws of nature

His teachings show us the principles of finding REAL LIFE

His Spirit is what will change us-all we have to do is believe

His peace and love is automatically downloaded into our spirit when we ask in TRUTH FROM OUR HEARTS

Prayer-helps us to put in words what is troubling us- prayer is the most powerful force of energy in the world. It gives a sense of sharing our burdens- puts into force an active principle of doing something- connects us to God

Turn to Jesus – what a friend we have in Him He said in the world you will have trouble, but in Me, you will have peace (Mat. Ch. 11 v 28-30 there is no other way that can guarantee you peace of mind- nothing

Jesus said- I am the way, the truth, the life- you will never find life without Me

Not only am I a TOTALLY DIFFERENT PERSON, but these last 32 years have seen me do what Jesus said- “anyone who believes in Me can do what I do!” -So many miracles of healing, deliverance and others have I seen through my hands, people being set free from addictions, depression, suicide, sickness, disease, cancers, arthritis, HIV, AIDS etc.

TRUTH IS THAT WE NEED OUR SPIRITS RENEWED, BY THE POWER OF GOD

So how is this done?

The above principles show the way, but it cannot be achieved if one is double minded-and do not believe in God or a spirit etc

It is only when one reaches rock bottom like I did that you will connect with the reality of God when you cry out from the depths of your being, and even if you are not sure if there is a God ( like I was) He will eventually see if you are genuine and pour His love into your heart. There are millions of people all over the world, in each and every generation who have had the same experience and even written books about their experience if one takes the trouble to research the matter.

WHAT WE NEED IS PEACE-THE FOLLOWING ARE SYMPTOMS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT AT WORK IN US

Galatians 5 v.22 Fruits of the Holy Spirit–peace instead of fear-

Self-control instead of undisciplined or impulsive;

Gentleness instead of rudeness-Patience instead of irritability or impatience;

Goodness instead of being obnoxious-Long suffering instead of being short-tempered;

Meekness instead of arrogance or pride-Love instead of hate-Joy instead of depression

FACING FACTS ABOUT YOURSELF- HOW TO BE A DIFFERENT PERSON

Someone, once said if you want to change your life, but don’t change anything, how dumb can you be?

DO YOU KNOW WHAT YOU DON’T KNOW-DOES GOD EXIST OR DOES HE NOT?

I ask this question because when I was a young engineer with many qualifications I thought I knew everything to know about life. This ignorance turned into a form of arrogance which just complicated my attempts to find peace in all the wrong places. When you think about it, there are so many areas of life we have never heard about, such as the function of the human body and its extremely incredible complex functions that defy mankind’s so-called intellect and understanding. It is seemingly impossible to take bits of flesh and bones and make the body heal itself without any help, to grow according to an incredibly complex DNA computer program so that not one human on this planet will ever be the same as anyone else. That a few bones and muscles can think logically and have feelings– how on earth is this possible?

WHERE DID EVERYTHING COME FROM

Why am I saying this-well, by now it is pretty obvious, to me anyway as an engineer who designs and makes things, and that everything has to be designed and created? If we look around us, whatever we look at was designed and manufactured by someone. Your house, furniture, clothes, cars, streets, lamps, suburbs, parks, all had to be created. How much more the natural things like the Sun, Earth, Moon, Stars, Galaxies, water, air, vegetables, animals, trees flowers etc. Only an imbecile would say these things just happened and fell out of the sky.

WHO MADE ALL THIS STUFF

No, my dear friend, they HAD to be created, designed for each individual purpose. So too, where we created for a purpose. Our problem is to find that purpose; otherwise, our lives are without meaning and purpose. Which is the point I am making-that just like a computer cannot fix itself, neither can a car or washing machine, so too are we unable to fix ourselves inside our soul, although our bodies can repair itself by itself. Whether you believe in a creator or God is immaterial-you can choose to believe the earth is flat, and for you the earth will remain flat. This initial ignorance of ours turns into arrogance as I did as a young engineer, and blocks us from ever understanding spiritual things. Yet as a radio communications engineer I worked with invisible radio waves, could measure them and design aerials etc to direct the waves to transmit information.

WE USE THE INVISIBLE REALM EVERY DAY OF OUR LIVES.

Today we think nothing of pointing a piece of plastic to open a door, use another piece of plastic to send music, money, pictures, videos, messages through the air and don’t even have the slightest clue what is actually going on inside it. Even more, we are monitored by the service provider who knows where we are at any time, keeps a record of everything we do on our phones and this is all invisible. We think we are so clever by taking pieces of dirt like iron, copper etc and making stuff that works mechanically or electrically, but does not and cannot have life such as we find in our own bodies. This life we find in ourselves came from somewhere when we are born, and goes somewhere when we die, but don’t have the slightest clue what is going on.

WE OURSELVES HAVE INVISIBLE SPIRIT BODIES LIVING IN A MATERIAL BODY

Just like a computer has a hard outside case with keys and buttons to operate it, so too are we much the same-the problem is that we are not aware or think we know so much that it can’t be true with our extremely limited understanding. So how can we be sure of what I am saying? Well, we have evidence, and just as a magistrate in a court depends on witnesses’ evidence, so too do we need evidence. Such a person is Jesus Christ, although there have been many great men and women who lived on this planet and said much about life.

NO ONE HAS EVER SAID THEY CAME FROM HEAVEN OR LIVED BEFORE THE WORLD WAS FORMED

Now we have a problem-Jesus said these things and many other crazy things. When I started studying His teachings I had a doubt in my mind-what I never understood was not the invisible realm itself, but the energy or power behind it. When I was so desperate at age 47 I challenged God on a mountain saying if there was one, to change my life. After a few days a power or energy flooded my being with such intensity I thought I would die, and after 36 hrs cried out for it to be taken away as I could not stand the ecstasy of love, peace and joy flooding my soul. So now what? I need no one to convince me of the spirit realm- I know NOW BY EXPERIENCE that God exists, and heaven is real. I will share with you on the following page how to get to that place if you truly want freedom.

THE ONLY WAY TO TRUE HAPPINESS IN SPITE OF YOUR CIRCUMSTANCES

The following prayer is a very simple prayer that Jesus taught His disciples. He also told them not to make long boring prayers but to go and pray to God our Father in heaven, who just like Vodacom and MTN would know and even record our request in the spirit realm. In order for this to happen with Internet service providers, you need a few things you must want a connection; you must first be certified, then you must physically go to an outlet and ask for one, then finally sign the contract and away you go. This is true for the spirit realm in our case, only sign up is for free. You must WANT to be connected, then MAKE CONTACT and speak your request.

The Our Father prayer has freed countless millions of people, and I have used this prayer for many, many people and seen them instantly healed of depression, suicide, anger etc-and be filled with peace afterwards. It is not JUST WORDS, but the spirit in which you say it. I tell people that if they REALLY want peace, then I give a guarantee they will receive it, if they really believe that God exists, that He hears prayers and answers them.

THE PRINCIPLE IS JUST THIS

Come expectantly
Worship God as best you can
Ask for His peace
Admit your failings and mistakes
Ask Him to forgive you for them
Also, you have to forgive others who have hurt you
You should pray a blessing over them so they can change
Ask God in future to lead you away from tempting to say or do wrong things
Thank His Son Jesus for paying the price for your sins to be forgiven
Ask God to deliver you from any evil inside you and from outside
Thank Him for His mercy, grace and the gift of new life
In the name and authority of Jesus

THE OUR FATHER PRAYER WITH ADAPTATIONS

(Say this prayer every day out loud, Stop after each line-meditate on what you have said-let it soak in)

OUR HOLY FATHER IN HEAVEN-

LET-Your KINGDOM come-into my heart, of peace, love and joy
LET-Your WILL be done-for Your Kingdom to come- in my life
GIVE–me bread from heaven-which is to do Your WILL-as Jesus taught, that will feed my spirit,

and strengthen my faith-and an opportunity to good this today.

FORGIVE-me when I fail to do Your WILL-and sin against You, and for hurting others- AS I ALSO forgive others who have hurt me, as YOU have commanded-(Jesus said-If I do not forgive others, I will not be forgiven Mt Ch 6 v 15)

* So I name my Mother, Father, Relatives, Partners, Friends, and anyone else who has hurt me- they were also made in YOUR image, and also made mistakes-like I do. I put the past behind me from this day forward

* I forgive them now– and pray a blessing over them, and set them free– and set myself free- from any resentment or offence-

LEAD–me by Your Holy Spirit–in my thoughts, words and actions-when I face any temptation in future to sin in my trials and troubles-to think, say or do the wrong thing. Help me to hear Your voice, and do Your WILL-thank you Lord Jesus for shedding your blood to save me from my sins-please cleanse my heart and fill it with Your love-help me to see the world through Your eyes
DELIVER-me-Set me free–from evil within me–anything unclean in my spirit- fear, pain, bitterness, resentment, rejection, anger, addictions, witchcraft, curses- please set me free and protect me from failing to do Your WILL.
Your POWER alone can do this-please heal me; fill my heart with Your Kingdom of love & peace by your Holy spirit-in the name of Jesus

7 STEPS TO KEEPING A LIFE OF PEACE AND JOY-BY JESUS DISCIPLE PETER

Peter wrote in his book 1 Peter Chapter 1 verses 1-10 the following.

V1 Simon Peter, a servant and apostle of Jesus Christ, To those who through the righteousness of our God and Saviour Jesus Christ have received a faith as precious as ours: 2 Grace and peace be yours in abundance through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. 3 His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. 4 Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.

5 For this very reason make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge;

6 and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love. 8 For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your (experiential) knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 But if anyone does not have them, he is short-sighted and blind and has forgotten that he has been cleansed from his past sins. 10 Therefore, my brothers, be all the more eager to make your calling and election sure. For if you do these things, you will never fall.

7 STEPS TO GROWING YOUR FAITH IN MORE DETAIL-begins in 1 Peter ch1 v1-10 as above

Faith in God is the start where we begin- when Peter reminds us our faith is precious

Goodness-add this to your faith; try and be a better and kinder person
Knowledge-remove ignorance by learning how to improve yourself from the teachings of Jesus
Self control-now go and apply what you have learnt-discipline will change our lifetime habits
Perseverance-don’t give up if you get it wrong-keep on trying and you will succeed
Godliness-See the world through Gods eyes-we are all made in His image-ask for His Holy Spirit to change you
Brotherly Kindness-have compassion on those who need encouragement-see them as your neighbour
Love-this is the greatest command-to love those who are unlovable even if we don’t like them

GUARANTEE

If we possess these qualities in INCREASING measure these principles will keep us from being INEFFECTIVE and UNPRODUCTIVE in your (experiential) KNOWLEDGE of our Lord Jesus Christ. BUT–If we do not do this, we are blind and short-sighted and lost sight of the salvation of our souls. BUT if we do these things we will never fall-

CHART OF THE LADDER OF FAITH TO HAPPINESS -7 STEPS

THERE IS ONLY ONE COMMAND OF HOW TO LIVE YOUR LIFE-LOVE

Throughout mankind’s history and attempts to be religious with many manmade laws, there is only one command in 2 parts which comes from God.

Love God with ALL your heart soul and body (out of gratitude for His mercy)
Love your neighbour as yourself-(do for them what you would like them to do for you)

YOU MAY HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THESE COMMANDS.

Love God

If we look at the first command, it is one that I originally had a problem with. How is it possible to love someone you have never met, or have never seen? For me this was impossible, and a lot of hocuspocuses.

Love your neighbour as you love yourself.

I had an even bigger problem with the second command because firstly I did not like myself, never mind love myself. I hated my life as it was on this planet, and probably would have committed suicide if it wasn’t for the responsibility of caring for my four children. I was working 3 jobs to pay for all the bills, and working late every night, plus studying until 2 am nightly for my engineering qualifications. Loving my neighbour was also out of the question, as I hated women for a start because of being deserted by the mother of my four children and having to bring them up, doing their homework, cooking for them, cleaning them, taking them to school apart from my own work fixing cars, working late at night on projects, studying etc.

ALL THAT CHANGED IN A MOMENT-TURNING FROM HATE TO LOVE BY A SUPERNATURAL POWER

As I previously mentioned, I was alone on a mountain when suddenly I was filled with the most intense, incredible feeling, like heat from the top of my head down to my feet. All the love that I had lacked as a child and adult was filling me, as well as peace and intense joy and ecstasy. (See my story on omegadmc.co.za). From that moment on I was different, had an energy that I never had before, and when I was involved in prayer could feel the energy leave me for healing people with health issues that continue to this day.

Loving God with all your heart

This command was now no longer a command-it was automatic because I was filled with gratitude for the change in my life, (still am) and constantly worship God, who at times gives me visions and dreams with astounding results, so I now not only KNOW there is a GOD but have firsthand experience of His presence.

Love yourself because of who you are, and your neighbour

This command also became unnecessary because I was filled with the Holy Spirit of God, who loves all mankind, so I was now able to see everyone made in the image of God from rich to poor and saw them through different eyes. Often the compassion of Jesus would arrest me on seeing poverty-stricken men and women who were dressed like hobos and had no home; so that I could not only feed them but pray with them to uplift their spirits and also bring healing to their spirits and soul, with the same energy I received. Loving myself now meant that I no longer spoke negative things over myself-or dwelt in the past on negative things, but had received a joy for living.

A DEFINITION OF LOVE AS PAUL WROTE IN 1 CORINTHIANS CHAPTER 1

1 If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels but have not to love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but has not to love, I am nothing. 3 If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not to love, I gain nothing. 4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, and it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.

7 It always protects, always trusts always hopes, and always perseveres. 8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. 9 for we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10 but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears. 11 When I was a child, I talked like a child; I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me. 12 Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known. 13 And now these three remain faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

MAKE A DECISION TO FOCUS- TO ACHIEVE SUCCESS AND YOUR DREAMS –SET GOALS

THE POSITIVES OF FOCUSING AND MAKING CHOICES- LIFE IS A CHOICE!

Prioritises the task at hand- prayer first!

Goal setting is made easier

Selective means being more effective

Concentrate on things needing attention

Clarifies the target- must know what you want

Increases energy due to clear objectives

Elevates you to a better place-less confusion

Finds a better way when in a muddle

Commitments– to complete necessary tasks

Difficulties are expected, but rewards aimed for

Time constraints are implemented-a stopwatch!

Disciplined actions w.r.t. time, dates,

Responsibility– ethics, integrity are vital

THE NEGATIVES OF NOT MAKING A CHOICE AND FOCUSING-THIS IS ALSO A CHOICE!

Avoids making excuses for weaknesses

Avoids dwelling and being stuck in the past

Leaves activities that are unproductive

Removes clutter and distractions

RELATIONSHIPS AND FRIENDSHIPS-WE NEED TO BE SELECTIVE IN WHO WE ASSOCIATE WITH

POSITIVE PEOPLE

Refreshers–strengthen and energise you and all around them

Refiners – Sharpen and clarify your vision. Help and encourage you

REFLECTORS-Mirror your energy, neither adding or subtracting

NEGATIVE PEOPLE

Reducers –diminish your goals, efforts to their comfort level

Rejectors—don’t understand you or Gods call on your life

IN CLOSING, REMEMBER
Worry, unforgiveness, bitterness, anger, resentment only kills a fool
Admitting your mistakes is the start, forgiving others for their mistakes is the key
Bringing your problems to God is the only way to a changed life
Read everything in the New Testament about Jesus and His teaching-let it be your workshop manual
Lastly, pray from a sincere heart, be part of a believing fellowship and make the world a better place

A TESTIMONY ABOUT THE OMEGA COURSE -A LIFE CHANGING EXPERIENCE 16.10.2017

Hi, my name is Philip Granger and I have attended the “Omega Course” since early 2016. Before I came to the “Omega Course”, I had given my life to the Lord when I was 17 years of age, but as life went on the world got to me; I had been a lukewarm Christian for most of my life. God said in his word that he despises lukewarm Christians; he said you must either be hot or cold, but not lukewarm. Unfortunately, I was not aware of it at the time when I attended the “Omega Course” my spiritual life was in a mess and so was my life as a result.

Living a life without meaning and purpose, in fear and depression

I was living like Dawn of the Living Dead; I was afraid of life, the future and reached a stage where life meant nothing.

When I arrived at Arthur Dilley’s home, I saw the people at “Omega Course” had the joy of the lord and no matter what happened in life they were still happy. Therefore, what happened was Arthur looked at me saw that I was in need and so began my journey back to the lord.

Baptism of the Holy Spirit

During which time Arthur laid hands on me, I was baptised in the Holy Spirit, and I felt the heat and warmth of the Holy Spirit, which changed my life.

Peace and joy and optimistic about life

I now feel that joy that I have been looking for my whole life and now I am on fire for the Lord, not lukewarm anymore. I recommend this course to anyone who is struggling with life, in need, or has backslidden as a Christian or wants to grow as a follower of Jesus. Healing of a broken heart by Keith 2016-2017

In spite of having been saved in 1982 while serving my national service, going to church in various places at various time and even experienced miracles, I can really say my real turning point was some 22 months ago when I had relocated to Cape Town.

Hello, how are you?

I was unemployed for 9 months and started a new job in 2016-all this time going through a very difficult divorce, from a wife who was an abusive alcoholic and left behind 27 years of my life in Johannesburg and not in a good space. I started to attend a church in Tokai, and one morning after the service was approached by Arthur Dilley, who was there purely on a once-off invitation to see the church-his first words to me were-hello, how are you?

A broken Heart

Unbeknown to me, he was given a word of revelation that I had a broken heart, and when I replied that I was fine, he said- ‘no you are not, you have a broken heart, which was revealed to me by The Father through the Holy Spirit’. I was at that stage troubled and depressed. He prayed for me, and I left with a feeling that things were going to be different from then on

The Omega journey begins

I was invited to join Arthur’s Omega Disciple Makers Course in 2016, which was when my road to healing began. The course starts with the basics of the Christian Faith, who Jesus is, in what we believe-progressing through to hands-on practical ministry-laying hands on the sick for healing, encouraging and supporting one another in our areas of ministry and gifts-in this way we were equipped for being disciples of Jesus out in the market place.

A path of spiritual growth and peace of God

It has been a path of spiritual growth and fellowship with like-minded, Godly believers-as I have travelled the road, God has given me the strength for each day, and am now able to face each day knowing he is with me during my time of stress during the divorce and trying to sell my house, I have been comforted and encouraged, even getting the peace of God that passes all understanding; I have also seen this transformation with others in the group, where they also have received, and experienced, the peace of God no matter what the circumstances are.

I can highly recommend this course to any Christ-follower who wants to grow and become more like Jesus.

SUMMARY

MENTAL/ emotional healing (see also spiritual healing)

Jesus would SPEAK to the disorder, and COMMAND it to leave-

This requires Power in the spiritual realm

Not only power but the authority to exercise that power

The healing act is an intentional commitment born out of love

This love is supernormal, or supernatural, and comes from above

It is allied with compassion for the sufferer, and to alleviate the pain

The absolute dependence of the Holy Spirit of God to provide assistance, and information is required.

Toxic thoughts create toxic bodies- the soul and spirit need to be disinfected and cleansed

This is by the holiness of God’s angels and ministering spirits for guidance and wisdom

Mental and emotional disorders are often accompanied by physical disorders

This will be dealt with under Physical healing
