Messages for the Church of Jesus
Eye has not seen, ear has not heard-the wonderful things God has in store, for those who love Him!
I have been privileged to see, and experience, this word spoken by Jesus to His disciples. In my travels around South Africa, and around the world, God has given me many prophetic words for people and Churches. Even more, He has given me the ability to do incredible things by the the power of His Holy Spirit, which defies the imagination. I hope to relate these stories shortly, which all testify to the words of Jesus over His followers in the book of John Ch 14 v12-14-ANYONE who believes in ME CAN do what I DO! That means every believer is capable, but this comes at a price. (See my books called ‘Experiencing Heaven on Earth elsewhere on this site)

#1 A MOUNTAIN SUNRISE MEDITATION fri 28th May 1999
The word of the Lord came to me –
Proclaim this message to the CHURCHES –
Arise o sleeper, rouse yourself from your slumber
Many times you have called to me and prayed
Yet when I answered, you were asleep
Could you not wait until I called ?
You have laboured much and reaped little
For the harvest is ripe and white for picking
Even the fish are in abundance
As the sea yields up its harvest
Many times you have fished and caught nothing
Because you never invited me into your boat
And now I tell you, cast out your nets again
And see what harvest awaits you
Now is the appointed time ; the days are approaching
When I will get tired of calling you
For you do not listen to my voice
And my people perish because you sleep
Look ! See ! even now the mists are forming ;
As they begin to form across this land
Bringing a stench of death and decay
Arise o sleeper – arise .

#2 A FIRE IN THE DARKNESS 10TH JUNE 1999
There is a fire in the darkness
On the mountains in peoples hearts’
For great is the darkness Satan has sown
Through lies and fear, bitterness and hatred ;
But deep down under the burnt out coals
Lies a spark – the very life and voice of God.
This is the day when he breathes new life
Fanning into flame that which he has purposed
As the new day dawns when the sun rises
So too, shall the Son of God be manifest in the hearts-
Of those that hunger and thirst for righteousness and justice,
Breaking the yoke of all that is evil and unholy.
Arise, taste and see that which is set
On the table, ready for all to partake;
God’s precious gift of new life
A gentle wind , fanning the fire
Into a roaring flame
Which no man, or evil , can destroy.

If only you would know
How much I love you
For I created the stars
And the universe
For your good pleasure
As you gaze upon the stars
Know that I have made you
Like stars to shine
In the darkness of this world
For as a father on Fathers Day
I sent my son to carry his cross
So that you may find the light
And be assured of your eternal inheritance
Rise up and celebrate
Take up your cross – of love
So that others may live
In the light that shines in the darkness

#4 A NEW WAVE OF REVIVAL St James beach meditation 3.9.2001
As I meditated on the sea, and the waves on the rising tide, this word came to me-
‘ I am sending a new wave of revival
It will be totally different –
To that which has gone before
It will wash away all that is dross
To cleanse and restore my church ‘
I said , surely all revivals are carried out through evangelists;
How can it be possibly be different to the early revivals ?
And the answer came-
‘ From now on I will tell you of new things
Of hidden things unknown to you-
They are created now and not long ago
You have not heard of these things before today
So you can not say I knew of them
You have neither heard nor understood
From old your ear has not been open
Well do I know how treacherous you are
You were called a rebel from birth
For my names sake I delay my anger
See, I have refined you, though not as silver
I have tested you, in the furnace of affliction
For my own sake , for my Names sake I do this
How can I let myself be defamed
I will not yield my Glory to another. ‘
(A few days later I saw the twin towers being brought down by Jumbo jets directed by suicide pilots; it was fortunate at that time the loss of life was minimal comparatively speaking as the towers were almost empty, and so were the planes. When asked why he did it, the terrorist leader Bin Laden said this- GOD TOLD ME TO DO IT !)
In the old testament God used a heathen nation to bring down the Jews who were corrupt, and the prophets were told by God-‘I will summon my servant from the North (Nebuchadnezzar) who will bring disaster upon this people‘ which seems cruel-but, and a big BUT, in each case the people repented and turned to Go in prayer and mourning-in the case of America, the churches overnight were filled to capacity as people turned to God)

#5 SPIRITUAL WARFARE- RISE UP CHURCH- ARISE !
DREAMS, VISIONS AND THE HOLY SPIRIT FRI 10.8.2006 4.00 AM
How wonderful is our God
Even in our distress and affliction
He comforts us
He gives hope to the weary
And instruction and counsel to his warriors
Even now in this current disposition
There is a war going on in the heavens
My Father and Lord said to me
My son, what do you think about spiritual warfare
Of principalities, powers and strongholds ?
I replied- that it seems like the mafia,
They would be the ruling regional spirit
And that strongholds are fortresses
Where the demonic forces gather
What else do you see ?
I see also that spiritual warfare means-
just that- 2 armies at war
The kingdom of Light against the kingdom of darkness
And for war to take place
There must be a declaration of war
This needs a huge army who need to be
Trained, co- ordinated and led into battle
The Spirit of Ahab is evident among my people
Who abdicate and capitulate their response- ability
Where the Muslim have the Jezebel spirit
Of manipulation and control
–both deceived by the enemy
I am about to pour out on the church
A spirit of Elijah
So that my army can rise up
And be led by competent commanders
The watchmen on the walls
Must establish Kingdom strongholds
Just like the enemy
And intercessors placed on the ramparts
#6 TAKE BACK THE LAND
THE FLOWERS, THE FOOD AND THE FLIES
(The reader may be interested in this amazing experience)
I had driven all the way from Muizenberg to way past the Cedarberg to Nieuwoudville some 200-300 km distant, for a picnic amongst the flowers that blossom in all their splendour every year. On taking out the picnic table and putting the food on it, we were invaded by a swarm of flies-and this made it impossible to eat in peace so we packed up and drove a few kilometres to another spot. Here the same thing happened again, so we packed up again and went quite a bit further in the hope of avoiding the flies. But no, on unpacking everything and putting the food out, again the flies came. So this time, in desperation, I spoke at them in tongues and commanded them to stay away from the food. Suddenly the table seemed clear of flies so we sat down to eat quickly in case they came back. But-they had not gone away-as I was chewing my food I looked up and saw the flies trying to settle on the food, but it was as if a magic wand was stopping them from being able to come closer to the food, probably a distance of 40 cm from the level of the table. They would fly towards the smell of the food, and then at the last minute turned aside and retreated, This kept on being so right up until the time we had finished eating,and left the picnic spot.The accompanying prophetic word uses this story to illustrate how strongholds can be put in place by believers (but also by the workers of darkness)
THE WORD OF THE LORD CAME TO ME
(Removing satans principalities-establishing Kingdom of God principalities)
Just as you put a stronghold on the table
The flies could no longer enter that area
So too must my church rise up
In wisdom and in My power
To take back the ` land` from the enemy
This ` land ` is the mind, emotions and spirit
Of all the innocent and the weak peoples of this world
Where satan has established his various
Principalities, strongholds and powers
So- RISE UP CHURCH -ARISE
Take up your place
Repent of an Ahab sprit
For you have fully received
The Elijah spirit that I send
From times to times
To accomplish that which must be done
So rise up –sound the battle call
Raise the standard- and stand firm
And seek me with all your heart
For I am with you

#7 A WORD FOR THE LOCAL CHURCH April 2017
QUESTION –WHAT IS THE BIGGEST OBSTACLE TO SPIRITUAL GROWTH AND REVIVAL?
As in the day of Jesus, THE GREATEST OPPOSITION CAME FROM THE RELIGIOUS FRATERNITY, WHO HAD NO DEALINGS WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT, rather a religious spirit devoid of spiritual life
THIS IS TRUE OF THE AVERAGE MODERN CHURCH, BECAUSE OF FAULTY THEOLOGY TAUGHT BY THE SCHOOLS OF THEOLOGY, WHEREBY THE WORKINGS AND PRACTICES OF THE HOLY SPIRIT IS ALMOST TOTALLY EXCLUDED.
THERE IS A PREVAILING SPIRIT IN THIS CHURCH
There is a blockage in this church, says the Holy Spirit of God
To my flow among the people, that would reveal my love and compassion
For those in distress and in pain
Furthermore, this blockage is a spirit of darkness
As John wrote in his book of Revelations,
Where the spirit of the church is addressed.
The Laodician spirit is evident, not cold, not hot but lukewarm
Rather a spirit of control and manipulation
Much like the Jezebel spirit
The true church of God must have evidence
Of My spirit moving amongst the people in the spiritual realm
Not one of compromise and fence sitting
But of power with accompanying signs and wonders from heaven
Awake-and rise up, search for me with all your heart
And I will be found by you-do not delay-
For the time is now
If you humble yourselves, and confess your sins
Of control and manipulation, then your light
Will shine for all to see
Rise up, uncover the talents, that lie hidden in the sand
For my people perish for lack of food
Food that heals their spirits
(This word received while sitting in church-given in love, and with the sole intention of stirring up the work of the Holy Spirit amongst all)
Ephesians 4..16 …where every individual part does its job, the body builds itself up in love

#8 HARVEST TIME 23.10.1994
Now is the time of abundant harvest
When all the birds of the air
Follow the fish in the sea
So that they can eat their fill
Of that which stirs the waters below
Boiling the surface like a storm
Moving- now this way-now that
For those on the outside
To eat their fill, as others before them
Where are the boats
That seek to fill their nets
Can they not see the signs in the sky
For this is the time I have raised up my people
Who are hungry for the word
That brings abundant life
This is harvest time-the appointed season
For the church, to pull in their nets
Down in the valleys-the sound of dry bones
Rising up and coming to life
Like newborn lambs
Who knew no shepherd
As God’s spirit is calling. People are falling
Under, and in, the presence of His love
Blossoming forth as new branches on the vine
Bringing a fresh wind of peace and restoration
Arise o children-bring healing to this nation

#9 THE BOUNDARIES BETWEEN HEAVEN AND EARTH 18.10.2002
The spirit of the Lord would say-
The boundaries between heaven and earth
Are firmly fixed
Separated by a sea of sin
Between God and man
Who sent His Son Jesus to build a bridge
So that all who choose this path
May enter His Kingdom
And receive their inheritance of eternal life
Set out for each of us
Come now, negotiate and appropriate this promise
Lay your sins down at the foot of the cross
Repent and receive this gift- of eternal peace, joy and love
So that you may be able to live this life here and now
And in the life hereafter
(The reader may be interested to know the background of this vision/ prophecy–I was at a time share condo in Umhlanga rocks, north of Durban, and walking through the Hawaan forest that sits on large sand dunes. The path is covered by lmany trees with long lianas or a type of vine hanging from the overhead canopy and reaching down to the ground. As I walked, it was as if the Lord directed me to an area where a shaft of light was streaming through the overhead canopy, and a liana or vine was right in the middle of this shaft of light. As I drew nearer, it reminded me of Jacob’s ladder in the bible reaching up to heaven,and as I came closer, all of a sudden I was stopped by a lot of rusty barbed wire, and could go no further. I meditated on this scenario, and then this particular prophetic word came to me; I stored this in my heart and went home.
The next day I went to the Living Waters Full Gospel Church on Sunday behind the Pick and Pay Hypermarket. I regularly attended this church once a year on my travels and was well known to the Pastor and congregation. While he was speaking, Holy Spirit said-‘go up and share that vision you had in the forest’.
So I went up at the appropriate time and shared it with the congregation, and as I did, was given a vision of the entire church on their knees! Not sure whether I should share that vision, Holy Spirit gave it to the Pastor who said we must all get on our knees and repent before God. The entire congregation then went on their knees for a time of repentance and supplication in prayer, and I realised this is why I was given this particular vision-for the glory of God)

#10 THE COMING STORM Hanover 10.9.2000 A driving message
THE COMING STORM
There is a storm brewing in the heavens
Which will push away all that is weak
And blow away the dross on the surface
For as my people cling to the cross
They shall never be blown asunder
All falsehood and lies that overtake the church
Will bring about a a new wave of cleansing
To reveal My Son in all his glory
That all who earnestly seek My face
Will believe in his message
They will find eternal life
In the here and now
And peace and goodwill
Will prevail against the works of darkness
So hold fast- the storm is coming.

BACKGROUND TO THE ABOVE PROPHETIC WORD-
THE STORM IS COMING November 2012
My name is Arthur Dilley, and I had a contract with Pick and Pay to travel around the country servicing bakery biscuit ovens as a service engineer in certain stores
G(OD)-MAIL FROM HEAVEN
It was on such a trip returning to Cape Town, having just left Colesburg, about 40 km from Hanover, when I received the above words in my spirit ,while driving and worshipping God in the spirit.
I pulled out a piece of paper and struggled to put them to paper as the vehicle was bouncing on the road-at that stage I had absolutely no idea what the words meant.
On arrival in Hanover, I saw the church spire and went to have a closer look, and found a beautiful church that was a national monument
While I was looking at it, Holy Spirit said to write the words down and push it under the front doors ( it was a Saturday )
Looking for a piece of paper, the only ones available were another prophetic word that was entitled ’Arise o sleeper ‘( This was a prophetic word that I had received in 1999 the year before, and I was instructed by Holy Spirit to make 100 copies, and push them under the front doors of every church that I laid my eyes on-this was basically a call to the church at large to arise from slumber as God was calling His church to action )
I then wrote the coming storm on the back of one of these prophesies, and put my details on it, so that I could be contacted in case of any questions and left.
THE RESPONSE
On the Monday, I received a call from the minister, who asked me if I was Moses!
I said I beg your pardon, what do you mean? He said how do I know there is a storm brewing in his church- to which I replied that I had no idea at all.
He then asked how did I get those words, as some said it was from God, and others said it was from the devil!!
He the asked if I would come and address the church to explain the matter more in detail, and my response was to agree.
GOING TO HANOVER TO MEET THE CONGREGATION
Having left Cape Town, my Venture suddenly started to overheat, and I thought I would never make Hanover, as the temperatures in the Karoo were approaching 40 degrees! I knew this was an attack of the devil, so after much prayer and frustration, I eventually arrived at Hanover where I met the minister; he invited me to stay in the pastorie for the weekend, and I was treated very kindly
PREPARATION FOR THE MEETING ( SATURDAY )-
Over breakfast, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the minister was ‘charismatic’ in his outlook, and more spiritual than traditional, open to the workings of Holy Spirit. He asked to pray for me, that God would give me wisdom and the ability to gainsay any attack by some of the church elders, who did not believe in the spiritual aspect of church life, together with prophecy, signs wonders and miracles-
CONFIRMATION OF GODS PRESENCE FOR THE MEETING
The minister had just finished praying when my cell phone rang, and a friend from Cape Town, the operations manager from Pick and pay Brackenfell rang with a strange message.
He said –Arthur , I have had a scripture going through my mind while working on my motorbike, and I know its for you-its Luke 4 v 16 onwards; I don’t even know what it is , but please check it out. I said thanks, and turned to the minister and asked him to read the passage, which he did as follows-
Luke 4 v 16- The spirit of the sovereign Lord is upon me, He has anointed me to preach the good news …
I said hallelujah, and said to the minister, God has just answered your request for His anointing, by giving someone in Cape Town the message of confirmation-how great is our God!! Praise His Holy name..
ENTERING THE CHURCH FOR THE FIRST TIME
We then went to the church, and a strange tale was related to me that there were unusual events happening in the church- strange noises coming from the roof and windows and doors opening closing, a clear sign of demonic manifestation.
I said that I sense by Holy Spirit that we should anoint all doors and windows with oil and pray against unclean spirits; this was done, and when finished, I was given an impression of washing the minister’s feet, so I asked for a bucket and towel.
The response was also amazing-he said I should take the paper off the pulpit and read it, where that was his message to the church at the last service!
MEETING THE CONGREGATION AND LEADERS SATURDAY EVENING
On arrival at the meeting, the place was full of people, and as I sat down at the table, one elder came forward to grab my papers to read them, (one of those who did not believe the story), and I said, relax my brother, I will let you have them when we are finished, so he left and sat down. I could feel the tension in the air, and wondered what the outcome would be? The minister then put on some soft music to calm the atmosphere, and as I listened, I prayed to the Lord to help me, as I was unsure as to how to begin, and the next minute I felt His anointing coming down on me, and received the following message-
“DO NOT TALK ABOUT THE PAPERS OR THE MESSAGE AT ALL;
BUT DO THE FOLLOWING-
LIFT UP THE BIBLE FOR ALL TO SEE, AND ASK IF THERE WAS ANYTHING IN THE BIBLE THAT SHOULD NOT BE THERE!!!”
Amazed, that is exactly what I did, and there was a deadly silence- no one had anything to say- so I repeated the question again, with the same silence !
From then on, it was all Holy Spirit, and as I was lead, fielded many questions, and especially some from a boisterous Portuguese gentleman, who threw a few curved balls, which I saw coming from a mile away, and easily put his mind at rest.
One thing stands out in my mind- testimony to the power of Jesus through the Holy Spirit will demolish every argument and pretension against the knowledge of God!
THE REASON FOR THE PROPHECY
The end result was that Jesus was lifted high; THE VISIBLE TENSION AMONGST THE CONGREGATION HAD SUBSIDED-and the storm had passed as there was now unity and peace amongst the people. In fact, when I got home after leaving Hanover a few days later, I received an email from the elder who had doubted the prophetic word, but subsequently praised the manner and testimony that I presented, and said he repented of unbelief, and that he had been convicted, as were many other people, and at the same time he had seen a different image of Jesus !!
This to the glory of God
#11 A MESSAGE OF HOPE TO THE HOPELESS
SUBSEQUENT EVENTS ( 1 of a few )-MIRACLES
NOUPOORT DRUG REHAB CENTRE
One of the elders at that time, invited me to visit a place called Noupoort, and together with his wife, we went there and entered what seemed to be a small church.
I was at that time unaware of what the place was, except that it seemed to be for down and outs, with drug problems
When we sat down, within 5 minutes they were ending in song when my new friend knocked me with his elbow and asked if I had a ‘word’ for them; my first reaction was to say don’t mock God, when Holy Spirit said –Yes, you do have a message for them- tell them you also have an addiction- and that you are addicted to Jesus Christ !
Amazed, I put up my hand as they were about to leave, and the Head pastor saw my hand and told everyone to sit down- I went up and started to tell them about my son who became a drug addict, because I, as a parent, never knew how to be a parent and had no role models; and that on becoming a spirit filled follower of Jesus I asked all my children to forgive me, telling them that I did my very best as a parent, but that I knew it was not good enough.
I then said that they were all there because of what their parents did to them, or did not do for them, and that unless they forgave their parents they would leave the same as they came in- full of bitterness, anger and unforgiveness. In fact their lives would never change unless they took that step, and asked God not forgive them, and their parents.
GOD STEPS IN AND HEALS THE BROKEN HEARTED
I then felt lead to pray for the people present, and asked the pastors permission- who said, ‘we pray every day, but go ahead ‘
As I opened my mouth, a strange language issued forth, and as I was speaking I realised that the people present, as well as Henry and Marietta would find it disturbing and probably be unhappy with me, so I asked Holy Spirit to give me the interpretation, which when it came was a beautiful message of God’s love for them, and that He heard their every cry in the darkness of life
Again, under the anointing, I did a thing that I never do in a church- asked anyone who wanted prayer to come forward
The front of the stage had a line of broken young people, and as I started with the first person I saw the pain and death wish in her eyes- I lifted my hands to bless her, and she fell on the ground without me touching her.
The same with the next young man, who also fell down as I lifted my hands to bless him.
Then an amazing thing happened- I lifted my hand and turned towards the rest of the line, and they all fell down under the power of God !!!
I was sure at this stage that I would have to walk back to Hanover, as the people from the NGK church would now certainly be very unhappy at what was happening.
Fortunately, this was not to be, and we went back to the farm where I was staying with them, after leaving the meeting with the young people still lying on the ground. Apparently, after we left, a revival broke out amongst those who were present and a number of lives were changed by the power of God.
WE ALL BECAME FIRM FRIENDS, and will all surely rejoice together in heaven one day at the power of God at work in our lives, as He uses us in an ongoing basis
In closing, I wish to salute people like Henry, Marietta, Hannes, Amanda, Gerrit Louw and others, who have welcomed me with open arms into their homes, and treated me as a brother year after year as I used to travel around the country
We have spent many happy hours chatting and encouraging one another in the Lord, and how wonderful it is to see the growth in our respective lives when I stayed over at their farms and homes on my travels.
I pray that whoever reads this testimony, will see the love and concern that God has for His church, the body of Christ- and that when there is strife and pain, He will send someone to bring encouragement, even a donkey (for Jesus), such as I.
Truly this story would go down as an ongoing (new) testament chapter, which will be written in the book of Life, and as we see in the book of Revelation, as given to John.
His word to the churches is the same yesterday, today and forever
