OMEGA MESSENGER OF HOPE CONFERENCE AT MARKA ON MOZAMBIQUE BORDER
Conference April 2021 to train Pastors in how to witness, esp for Muslim brothers and sisters
Pastor Michael Jack from Nsanje, together with about 20 pastors from Nsanje, 30 Pastors from Mpenje and Marka 30. They will also presumably bring wives with, and Muslims including refugees from Mozambique, apparently many of them are interested in coming to hear about Jesus, with about up to 200 people in total expected.

Mozambique Muslim refugees
It is hoped that we can assist Muslim refugees and others to be helped to overcome any fear from the bloody murders and slaughter of the Muslim population on the northern border by the ISIS rebels.
We hope to provide counselling and encouragement for those who are traumatised and without hope; to that end Omega Messenger of Hope is well positioned to bring light in the darkness and bring hope and healing to all who are desperate. That would also include food parcels if donations reach a level whereby this is made possible. (A few days ago Pastor Michael Jack had to lead a funeral service at Marka for 3 young orphan children who died of starvation after having no food to eat)
Conference objectives
To train Pastors and Leaders in Christian foundation basics, as well as expose them to the workings and move of God’s Holy Spirit. After all, our Muslim brothers and sisters well know that Jesus is mentioned 25 times in the Koran and the prophet only 4 times.
Furthermore, the Koran has much to say about Jesus, such as the following
- Jesus is the Word of God
- Jesus is the spirit of God
- Jesus was the Messiah the Jews were waiting for
- Jesus spoke when he was 2 days old
- Jesus made a bird out of mud, breathed on it and it came to life
- Jesus therefore can give life
- Jesus brought dead people back to life
- Jesus healed blind people
- Jesus went to heaven
- Jesus will return back to earth one day
- There is no mention of any women except Mary or Miriam mother of Jesus (Ch.19)
- There is also a chapter about the family of Mary (Chap 3)
- The Koran says God can see without eyes, hear without ears and speak without tongue
- In that case, God is able to create a Son-just as He created Adam in the beginning out of mud.
- The bible says in 1 Genesis God said-‘let US make man in OUR image‘
- The Koran says ‘WE made man out of the mud-‘
- The only conclusion is that God was speaking to His Son, who He created and sent to earth to bring good news to mankind about the Kingdom of God, and much more.
THE HOLY BIBLE IN THE KORAN
In Chapter 10 verse 4, the Koran says the following-(God speaking!)
If you have any doubts about this Koran I gave you-go and READ THE HOLY BIBLE, or ask those WHO READ THE BIBLE (Teachers and scholars)
God’s people
Therefore we can see that the true Muslim (which means a person submitted, or fully committed to following God) is encouraged to read the Bible in order to establish deeper truths. In this way we understand that God’s messenger of hope, Jesus was divinely appointed and sent for bringing hope, salvation and healing for everyone on planet earth.
True Christians also, are required to be fully submitted or committed to God’s laws and decrees; and in a sense the word Muslim SHOULD mean anyone who is fully committed to God
The only problem
In one word-IGNORANCE. Why do I say that? Well consider the many sayings of Jesus, and God of the Old Testament. Jesus said that anyone who wants to follow Him must pick up his own cross and die to himself daily-in other words, we are to put aside our selfish and corrupt ways and preach the good news of God’s kingdom to the poor (those who know they are sinners).
People who follow Jesus will have a deeper understanding of who God really is, what He wants from mankind, that Jesus was sent to earth to bring forgiveness of sin, a sure way to heaven and eternal life and demonstrate the kingdom of God on earth with power from above.
The Holy Bible
The Holy Bible clearly says in the book of 2 Peter v15 that He, John and James heard the voice of God while Jesus was speaking with Moses and Elijah who appeared on a mountain top. Peter states “we ourselves heard the voice on the mountain which said-‘This is my beloved Son with whom I am well pleased’
The angel Gabriel in the Bible and Koran
Finally, the angel Gabriel appeared to Mary the mother to be of Jesus, and who also appeared to prophet Muhammad 600 years later, said to Mary while still a virgin-You will have a son, who will be born not from man but from the Holy Spirit-You are to call Him Jesus, the Son of God. Neither Gabriel nor God can lie when they said these things. And so we have the truth revealed to us from the Holy Bible, which is the word of God.
