THE PERFECT PRAYER AS TAUGHT BY JESUS
One must say this prayer out loud-it must be from your spirit, with all your heart,faith and trust
A QUICK SUMMARY OF THE STRUCTURE OF THE LORDS PRAYER
1. WORSHIP GOD FIRST IN REVERENCE, AS HE IS HOLY
2. ASK FOR HIS KINGDOM TO COME TO EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN-WHERE THERE IS NO SIN-(IN YOUR HEART, AS JESUS TAUGHT)
3. NEXT-ASK FOR GOD’S WILL TO BE DONE-WHICH IS TO BRING HIS KINGDOM TO EARTH (IN OTHERS AROUND YOU)
4. NEXT-ASK FOR THE BREAD THAT WILL SUSTAIN YOU AND NOURISH YOUR SPIRIT-(JESUS SAID HIS BREAD WAS TO DO THE WILL OF HIS FATHER)
5. NEXT-ASK FOR FORGIVENESS WHEN YOU SIN (WHICH IS AGAINST GOD’S WILL)
6. NEXT -FORGIVE ANYONE ELSE WHO HAS SINNED AGAINST YOU (OR YOU WILL NOT BE FORGIVEN AS JESUS TAUGHT IN MATHEW 6.19 -AND PRAY A BLESSING OVER THEM !!
7. NEXT -ASK FOR GOD’S HOLY SPIRIT TO LEAD YOU WHEN YOU ARE TEMPTED TO SIN IN FUTURE WHICH IS NOT GOD’S WILL
8. NEXT-ASK FOR GOD’S HOLY SPIRIT TO DELIVER YOU FROM THAT SIN AND SET YOU FREE, BY HIS MERCY AND GRACE
9. NEXT-CLOSE BY ONCE AGAIN WORSHIPPING GOD AND ACKNOWLEDGING IT IS BY HIS POWER ALONE THAT YOU WILL BE SAVED (FROM SINNING AND GOING AGAINST GOD’S WILL)
10. FINALLY-THANK GOD FOR HIS MERCY AND HIS GRACE, AND FOR HIS KINGDOM IN YOU

Heavenly Father, Holy is Your name -I thank You for this day-I know that I am Your child-You formed me and shaped me-in my mother’s womb- You know my beginning-and my end’

May your kingdom of peace love and joy come into my heart-as it is in heaven
(ASK FOR HIS WILL TO BE DONE-FOR HEAVEN TO BE ON EARTH)
May I do your will- and bring your kingdom of heaven to earth today
(ASK FOR YOU DAILY BREAD- TO SUSTAIN YOUR SPIRIT)
May I receive my daily bread-(which is also what Jesus meant when He said His bread is to do your will) and know your will today for that to feed my spirit and not only my body-which is to experience the joy of heaven as we proclaim your Gospel and share it with those around me, who you direct me to)
(CONFESS YOUR SINS AND ASK FOR FORGIVENESS)
(James 5v16 says: Confess your sins so that you may be healed)
‘You know the times in my life-where I have gone astray-I confess I have made many mistakes– ‘Forgive me for my sins, and for hurting others-In so doing I have offended You-for You are a Holy God. Please forgive me for my mistakes and my sins- known and unknown’
(FORGIVE OTHERS-WHO ALSO MAKE MISTAKES)
‘As I forgive others as you commanded
I realise that I must also forgive others-who have offended me, and hurt me, I know that if I do not forgive them-then-You said I will not be forgiven. They also made mistakes-and were unaware of what they were doing.’
(NAME MOTHER, FATHER, GRANDPARENTS ETC)
‘So I begin by naming my mother and father-I forgive them-
I pray a blessing over them (whether alive or in spirit) as you also commanded – as they were also made in your image’

(At this stage one may refuse to forgive-remind yourself it is a command of Jesus, persevere). ‘I also forgive any other relatives in the family-any Uncles, Aunts, siblings etc who have hurt me-I pray a blessing over them, (whether alive or in spirit)-as they were also made in your image-I forgive them now-and set them free, so that I myself can be free’
(NAME OTHER RELATIONSHIPS-PARTNER, HUSBAND, WIFE, UNCLES, AUNTS, BROTHERS, CHILDREN, BUSINESS ETC)
‘I also forgive-any family or relations, friends, business associates-or anyone who has hurt me. (whether alive or in spirit) as they were also made in your image. I forgive them now-and pray a blessing over them, and set them free-so that I myself can be free’
( SURRENDER YOUR BURDENS TO JESUS-WITH THANKSGIVING)
‘I thank you Lord Jesus-for suffering and dying for me on the cross- I place my burdens at your feet-because- You promised all who are weary to give them rest. Thank You for dying on a cross-for the forgiveness of my sins. Please take my hard heart-wash and cleanse it and make it new; Fill it with Your Holy Spirit and Your love- help me see the world through Your eyes.’

Lead me by your Holy Spirit-
Whenever I find myself in temptation to sin in trials or troubles-in my thoughts, words and actions-help me to get through them-and not think, say or do anything that is contrary to Your Will’.
(ASK TO BE DELIVERED-SET FREE-FROM THAT WHICH BINDS YOU)
‘Please set me free from anything unclean in my spirit-any fear, resentment, bitterness, anger, unforgiveness, sickness, addictions, curses, witchcraft or any other unclean spirit within me; I command you to leave me now-you may not come back-I am a child of God protected by the price Jesus paid for my salvation.’
(ACKNOWLEDGE YOUR INABILITY TO DO THE ABOVE-ONLY BY THE HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD CAN YOU BE SET FREE-AND/OR HEALED)
Heavenly Father ‘I have no power to do this on my own-so, I ask for Your power to heal me, and set me free-This is Your will for my life. Thank you that Your kingdom of love, peace and joy is now in my heart-In Jesus name I pray-Amen’

I trust that you dear reader will find peace, which we might say was lost because it was the devil who comes to steal, kill and destroy as Jesus taught- but more often we lose our peace by our own inner attitude towards others who offend and hurt us, so that we carry bitterness, anger and unforgiveness, which poisons our soul. We will never be free, and neither will we enter heaven until we set others free MT CH 6.19
I pray that that which you need in your life-whether peace, happiness, forgiveness, inner healing, physical healing, freedom from addictions or curses, depression etc-will be yours as you repeat this prayer on a daily basis until you are filled with the Holy Spirit of God, which is what will bring true freedom and meaning for life.
